About Steven B. Epstein

A founding partner at the Firm Barket, Epstei, Kearon, Aldea & LoTurco, LLP, Mr. Epstein is nationally recognized as one of the foremost DWI and Vehicular Homicide defense attorneys in the country, specializing in representing clients accused of DWI, vehicular homicides and other criminal offenses. He is a much sought after lecturer at continuing legal education seminars for other attorneys, and the author of numerous published articles relating to trial techniques, legal challenges to scientific evidence, legal updates and other criminal and DWI defense related issues, including accident reconstruction, forensic toxicology and vehicular homicide investigations. The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers ranked Mr. Epstein in their list of the top 20 continuing legal education lecturers in the nation in 2018. Mr. Epstein also proudly serves as a faculty member of the National College for DUI Defense. Mr. Epstein has successfully defended individuals accused of vehicular homicides and has tried over 100 jury cases to verdict. In two recent and notable cases, Mr. Epstein was able to obtain a dismissal of all charges against a client charged with vehicular homicide in Suffolk County, and was successful in convincing the Westchester County District Attorney to decline to prosecute another client for vehicular homicide despite the existence of sufficient facts to initially accuse him of criminality. Both of these results were due to Mr. Epstein’s thorough investigation, expertise and knowledge of all aspects of vehicular homicide cases. If you or a loved one have been arrested for DWI or any crime, Mr. Epstein is available 24/7 to help. Call or text him at #516-650-1297.
